At Kiremko, both quality and service are excellent

Kiremko’s Fados are used for Opzouten’s mobile equipment. ‘For our catering fryer, we need equipment that is both reliable and flexible,’ says owner Maayk de Poorter. ‘We not only have mobile units, but also permanent shops in the RAI and at FC Utrecht, all equipped with Kiremko equipment. Our experience is that Kiremko makes what we want for us. For our food truck Opzouten, I had an old UPC truck converted and wanted something unique, so I asked Kiremko for a black model. It was arranged perfectly. The baking walls are highly visible to our customers, which makes it both our and Kiremko’s showpiece.’

High capacity for busy events

Service and capacity are crucial for Maayk. ‘The most important thing for me is to know that I will be helped if there are problems. The quality of equipment and service from Kiremko are always good,’ he says. Practically speaking, sufficient capacity is essential. ‘We are often at festivals with around 30,000 visitors. Around half past five, the big crowd comes to eat, and then all the equipment has to run at full capacity without burning the produce or fat. Kiremko’s equipment is perfectly tuned to our needs, allowing us to switch up when it gets busy.’
